The publishing house August Verlag Berlin is a forum for theory at the crossroads of philosophy, politics and art.
The publications appear in two formats:
The Small Edition is devoted to the essay as a form of intervention that is too long for a journal and too short for a traditional book.
The Large Format presents contemporary theory as well as translations of classics.
